As a kid, Andrew loved creating -- comics, board games, stories, just about anything. Later he discovered computers, and found out that it's possible to create programs that do things and interact with you - something that was even more fun!

Andrew's job as a product manager at Google means figuring out what internet users in South East Asia need most, and then working with a crack team of software engineers and other specialists to launch products. At Google, he's helping make the products that millions of people use every day, such as Google Maps.

He thinks a new creation is a success when people can simply use it, without even noticing that they're using technology. A well-designed and well-built creation should allow people to use it directly for its purpose, without having to think about the mechanism.
